01 Scholarship Program

Award of Scholarship for Vocational Studies

The scholarship is open to students enrolled in professional or vocational degree, diploma, or certificate programs. Eligible candidates receive direct financial support based on tuition fees and fund availability.

Eligibility Conditions

Course of Study

Must be enrolled in a professional or vocational course (Degree, Diploma, or Certificate) in Medical, Engineering, Managerial, Commerce, Technical, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, or Teacher Education.

Financial Status

Total family income from all sources must not exceed ₹25,000 per month.

Single Source

The applicant must not be receiving a scholarship from any other source.

Academic Excellence

The student must have passed their previous qualifying examination with a minimum of 75% marks.

Application Submission Requirements

Completed Application Form

All columns of the application form must be fuly filled and Accept by the Head of Institution.

B

Proof of Income

A copy of the Parent's I.T.R. (Last Financial Year – Current Assessment Year) OR an Income Affidavit per the Society's specimen, attested by a Notary Public.

C

Academic Records

A photocopy of the detailed marksheet of the last examination passed, fuly attested by the Principal.

D

Identification

Self-attested photocopies of the Aadhaar Card for both the student and one parent.

Application Must be Accept by the Head of Institution

Applications authenticated by the head of the institution for the current academic year must reach the Society at least 30 days prior to the last date. Incomplete applications without required enclosures will not be accepted.

Process Details

Identification of Students

Students can apply through the Apply Scholorship Dashboard. Fill All the fields and Application Must be Verified by the Head of Institution.

Quantum of Scholarship

The value is determined by the tuition fees payable and total funds available. As a charitable trust relying solely on voluntary donations, scholarship amounts may vary based on fund availability.

Mode of Payment

Funds are disbursed directly through the Head of the Institution, with actual payee receipts duly authenticated by the Head for all disbursed amounts.

Sanction of Application

Applications are reviewed and sanctioned by the Governing Council on a First-Come, First-Served basis for the full academic year, subject to fund availability.

02 Special Assistance

Special Assistance Fund

The Society has set up a regular Special Assistance Fund for giving assistance to students whose need is based on compassionate grounds whether or not they fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Compassionate Grounds

Students are treated as a separate category when facing the following hardships:

  • Loss of parents (orphans or fatherless status)
  • Physical disability
  • Extreme poverty
  • Victims of natural calamities
  • Wards of divorced or deserted women
03 Merit Awards

Award of Meritorious Students

The Society honours academic Toppers with cash awards and a Roll of Honour certificate at the annual Sanman Samaroh held in April at Chandigarh. Parental income is no bar for this award.

Sanman Samaroh Annual Prize Function

Prizes are awarded as cash along with a certificate of Roll of Honour at a specially held function every April in Chandigarh, presided over by a distinguished Chief Guest.

The Society has provided special awards to toppers in various institutions for the last 20 years. The names of the toppers are published in the annual souvenir of the Society. This is done with the kind consent of the parents/Guardians.

How Toppers Are Identified

Universities and institutions are requested to include this information in their prospectus for selected courses, and to communicate the names and addresses of topper students to the Society each year.

The object is to inculcate a spirit of hard work and academic excellence. Parental income is no bar for this award merit alone qualifies.

04 Memorial Scholarships

Setting Up of Memorial Scholarships & Awards

A unique scheme that enables donors to perpetuate the memory of their departed loved ones while funding deserving students forever.

Perpetual Dedication

The Society denominates the Memorial Scholarship in the name of the departed, assigned on a perennial and perpetual basis to a needy intelligent student of any recognised institution.

Donation-Based Quantum

A one-time donation of ₹20,000 sets up a perpetual scholarship. For ₹1,00,000, the scholarship reaches ₹600 per month. All donations become part of the Society's capital corpus.

Souvenir Publication

Details of the memorial including a photograph of the departed, donor's name, scholarship amount are printed in the Society's annual Souvenir each year.

Mutual Communication

Memorial details are communicated to the student's institution, and the student's particulars are shared back to the donors creating a meaningful ongoing connection.
